The Mach 1 knuckles (also referred to as Spindle) in the kit offer improved roll center, reduced bumpsteer, and improved suspension geometry on lowered cars. Increased Strength
Ford used several different versions of front knuckles on the S550 platform, with weaker, more prone-to-failure hubs. The Non-Magneride used a knuckle with a spindle-mount hub, whereas the MagneRide GT hubs employ a bolt-on hub with a different pattern and a thinner bearing. Included is the stronger front hub in the kit, which helps with premature bearing failures with an improved hub bearing design that is wider and stronger. The added benefit of the Mach 1 knuckles and stronger bearings is that they help prevent ABS sensor misreading, which can trigger traction control during performance driving.
