SVE Specific Rate Lowering Springs
Increase handling and styling in your 2015-2026 Mustang with a set of our Special Vehicle Equipment® specific rate-lowering springs! You’ve probably noticed that from the factory, your S550 or S650 Mustang sits a little bit higher in the front compared to the rear. This is one of the first things that had to be fixed. Designed around quality and purpose, SVE has developed an easy solution, made in the USA, that will lower your Mustang for greater styling while also increasing the handling. By lowering the center of gravity in your Mustang, it reduces the squat during acceleration, body roll while cornering, and excessive nose-dive during hard braking. This Mustang SVE lowering spring kit lowers your 2015-2026 Mustang GT/Bullitt by 1.1″ in the front and 1.0″ in the rear, and lowers your V6/Ecoboost Mustang by 0.5″ in the front and 1.0″ in the rear. Closing the wheel gap on your S550 or S650 Mustang provides an aggressive level stance that is sure to turn heads. The specific or constant rate in these springs also provides an excellent ride quality similar to stock for maximum comfort.
Why Buy SVE Springs?
- Proudly Made In The USA – SVE Mustang lowering springs are proudly made in the USA by a leading suspension engineering company and have been designed to our exact specifications for the best performance and appearance on the market.
- Designed With Performance & Comfort In Mind – These SVE lowering springs were designed to lower your S550 or S650 Mustang a conservative amount to give you the perfect balance of comfort, aggressive looks, and performance.
- Tested & Trusted By Mustang Enthusiasts – We’ve installed these springs on our cars that see regular track time and daily driving. Rest assured, you’re getting a tried-and-true spring that performs.
Do I Need Anything Else For Installation?
While these springs can be installed on most Mustangs without the need for additional parts, there are a few things you want to consider when installing Mustang lowering springs.
- Caster Camber Plates – When lowering your Mustang, your suspension geometry will change. This will cause your front end’s alignment to become out of spec, leading to uneven tire wear. A set of caster camber plates will allow you to easily align your Mustang correctly.
- IRS Bracing – Pair your new lowering spring install with a few options of IRS subframe bracing to maximize the performance and handling in your Mustang. Stiffening the rear suspension of your Mustang helps prevent wheel hop and allows you to put all of your power to the ground.
- Sway Bars – Complete your SVE lowering spring install on your Mustang with a set of aftermarket sway bars. These sway bars increase handling, reduce body roll, and ultimately reduce track times around any track.
